I've been looking at a couple of ball spinners, but I'm not too sure what to look for good or bad. Sometimes it'd be nice to have one at home to clean, hit a ball with abralon, etc. So I've been looking. Anyway, other than the horsepower, what do you look for? Here's two that I was considering:

Is there much difference in horsepower to justify the bigger one? Is 1/3 HP good enough for the "home shop"?

if you want to go with the half horsepower and money isn't really a problem, for an extra hundred bucks, you may as well get this package, it comes with a foot pedal and a bunch of other stuff

I have the Vertex 1/3 HP and it has been one of the better purchases I have ever made. Get the foot peddle though it makes it alot easier

I have the donkee spinner. Had it for many years very good unit. I like the splash guard it has, you don't need to put it in a tub. It also has a drain on the bottom so you can put a hole in your table where you use it to drain the water into a small bucket when wet sanding. Also like the 2 speeds. Yes I also agree get the foot switch. donkee.com
