To start, I'm more of a "tweener" I start more to the right (ride the gutter) and go down and in. My speed is around 17-18 and my rev rate is around 300.

Lately I haven't been getting enough backend, and have been coming up short of the pocket. So I canged my approach and started throwing closer to the 2-3 arrow. Which has brought my average down quite significantly. I throw a Raw Hammer Doom right now, and it's been great for the most part, but it just isn't hitting or hocking enough for me.

I need something that can give me a stronger backend and that hits like a truck. Money isn't to much of an issue and i'm willing to buy used, so any suggestions would be VERY helpfull.

My Black Widow Pearl works great for that kinda shot if you wanna stay with Hammer. But that's on a THS with medium oil, not exactly sure what you're bowling on. I throw the ball just a touch slower than you do and I swing mine out to the gutter and it comes back.

Storm Shift.  I play a tighter inside line & w/pin up I get length & backend the smashes the pocket.  That's just me though.  Spitfire was Norm Duke used last year on that outside line.  He did pretty good w/it, for not bowling half the year.

I throw the ball very similar to you and bought the vapor zone a month ago and I have been nothing but pleased.  This ball is very versatile and very strong, I think it would be a good fit for your game.
