2 Ball Tote recommendations?
« on: October 01, 2004, 11:40:41 AM »
I went on BOWLERSPARADISE.COM, and looked at their 2 ball totes.
They have quite a few...Anyone have experience (good or bad) with any certain brand or style. I don't need wheels.
TIA,

DynoThane makes a great two ball tote,..rugged, and a large zippered side pouch,..I use 2 when crossing in tournaments where we move every game,..less space than bags,..and quick to move...

I have a Storm tote bag (without shoe pocket).  It's ok, but the opening could be bigger.  It's difficult to get the second ball into the bag.

Buddies has good prices. I recommend them. Track,RotoGrip, storm and Columbia have good quality totes.

My new favorite is, the NEW Vise (clear top). Lots of padding for protection, they seem "well built".......... Hope that helps.

Take care,   Jeff

I recently picked up a tote plus from Roto Grip.
This has 2 side pouches instead of just one.
So far I like it more than the older versions because of having more storage space.
For moving from pair to pair during tournaments I use totes exclusively.
Its easier to manage getting around other bowlers that are using triples or quads.
In the past I've had decent success with Storm and KR totes.
free agency it is until i get a better offer.   LMAO

I have a Hammer 2 ball tote and it is excellent quality and has lots of room. My shoes fit in there easily and it has 2 small pockets and one big pocket. Looks really good too. Not a cheapo looking bag.

all totes have the same problems. but for the price you can't say much.

the storm design(roto uses the same design) all seem to rip eventually where the shoulder strap meets the bag and i am known for ripping or breaking those little dinky metal zippers off. the columbia though imho are the absolute best bet. a little cheaper i think but very good padding for your shoulder, and stronger zippers.
