Giving Away One Free Website
« on: July 27, 2004, 08:46:14 AM »
Ok, I'm looking to give away one free website to a bowling organization of some sort.  You can be a pro shop, bowling center, a tournament organization, or whatever.  Just no "fan" site.

There will be a few rules, no e-commerce allowed.  You can post stuff for sale, specials and whatnot, but there can't be any online credit card transaction stuff.  This is just to help out someone who could use a web presence and is willing to put in some work to put the pages up.  The software is rather simple to use, no code required.  THere won't be any forums or calendar features... just simple webpages.

Send me an e-mail with what your organization is, and what your plans are for the site, and I'll send you more details of how this is going to work.

Right now I am only giving away one website... just to see how this will work.  Once I think I can do this for mor folsk I'll offer it up to anyone and everyone with a legitimate organization.  So even if you think you're too late, if you're interested in something like this contact me anyways and I'll save your info for when I'm able to offer to everyone.

Feel free to ask questions in this thread, I'll be happy to answer.

My e-mail address is: tony AT allbowling.com

hehe.... that's not it.

Everytime you post your whole address on a website, especially forums like this, you get sucked into spamming e-mail lists.  There are programs that scour the internet looking for e-mail addresses on webpages.  This is why I never list out my whole e-mail address so a program can snag it.

Learn sump'in new every day, huh?

off topic:
believe its a little easier to recognize as an email address with following syntax:

name[at]blahblah[dot]com or

name(at)blahblah(dot)com

a gratuitous bump...

I've had a couple people reply, but they don'treally qualify since they don't have a bowling related business of some sort.

Anyone else?
