Thumb problem help
« on: May 26, 2003, 09:12:06 AM »
Doing yeard work over the weekend I blistered both the front and back of my thumb.  I use nu-skin quite a bit on my thumb whenever I am having problems.

Here is the true question.  Is there anything better?  The skin is torn and open and very sore.  I can take the pain, but if I don't protect it then it will never heal.  I have read the posts on the tapes and things like that.

What is everyones opinion what way should I go.

I don't really play cards and I am not 79, but it fits together somehow.

Use Hypafix.
I first use it about 3 years ago when the front and back of my bowling hand was caught in a Steam laundry press suffering 3rd degree burns.
Hospital use it as dressing and when I started bowling again I use it on my thumb to protect it and have been using it ever since.

If you look for the HypaFix topic under Misc, in the first post I made should be an 800 number to the manufacturer of HypaFix if you want to find someone in your area that sells it.  Try a medical supply outlet.
