Ballreviws All-star teams !

What BR members would be on your 5 member all-star team and why ?

I find it hard to believe that if you picked up a ball today that you would not be back in form in short order. Carrying an avg. of 249 for a season is enough in itself to qualify you, let alone the honor scores you have rolled.
Besides, since I'm picking the team, I'm allowed to make "homer" picks.

mike austin......for befriending me and many others at regional tournaments and on this website. he has a "unique" perspective on many subjects.....some of them are even bowling related !

jeff carter.....class act. besides being a great player his greatest ability may be as a "people person". his dedication to the memory of a friend who passed away from cancer should be a lesson to us all.

bob hanson.....has competed at a high level for many years. has a wealth of information and knowledge on the subject of bowling. we're lucky he shares it with us.

brunsnick/brunsrico/brunsbob.....i'm lumping all these gentlemen together( sorry guys ! )as they are all employed one way or another by brunswick. they have the answers if you have a brunswick question.

jesse james.....because he was the only person who placed me on their all-star team( the checks in the mail ! ).

I would just like to sit around watching alot of these guys bowl and talk. I think I would get better just by osmosis. Great lists guys I know some, I've seen some bowl and I have just heard about others. Maybe we should mix these teams up some throw in a couple of us house hacks and have a tourney.

i feel compelled to add an honorable mention list:


new guy.....knows the business of bowling and bowling equipment. has been the head man at track, dyno-thane, and 900 global.

x-guy.....again knows bowling and bowling equipment from his days at track, dyno-thane, brunswick, and elite(?).

eric thomas.....a go-to guy with 900 global, 3G, and amf. he was a big help when i needed info on the tour ultra's i bought.
