I think Storm has some in their website or catalogue as pro shop equipment. And there is a bowling book featuring Parker Bohn III by Brusnwick where some ball cores are presented.

thfonz, I clicked on the link you posted and looked at the prices of the balls in the background and those prices about knocked me out of my chair. Couldn't believe someone can price those balls for that much money and I can't believe anyone would pay that much......Heck, you can even buy one of Jabroni's favorite Buzzsaws drilled with grips, slug, etc. for less than that.

Just saw that too...$249.95 for a Full Throttle...that is beyond insane...I paid over $100 less for mine drilled when it first came out.  Also, when a ball is on display, usually it's in the box finish...not that it matters that much.

That is a decent price if they do a good job. My driller is extremely accurate and hardley ever more than 1/64th off if even that much, and that is what she charges ($40).

Did you get your ball from a proshop, or online?  From what I know (although not from the US), I thought that was about standard for a ball bought in a proshop, including drilling etc.. isnt it?

no thats a giant rip, in my opinion. Then again, the last ball I bought in a pro shop, was my 14# predator jungle green, which I got when I first started bowling.

I actually sawed a gyro-balanced Ebonite in half last year.  I'd post a pic but it's really not exciting at all.  Imagine a blue circle with a white circle in the middle that has a little green puck at the top.
