Balls that were/are irreplaceable
« on: October 01, 2008, 06:14:45 AM »
Does anybody have a favorite ball that they have never been able to replace? I just added a discontinued ball into my arsenal and am worried I won't be able duplicate the reaction with a different ball and waste alot of time looking. Do alot of people "stock up" when in the same situation?

Monster Slay/R is the closest type of roll and oil handling I can think of, to the SLing Blade, which was a very rolly, light - medium-light oil ball (the ones I saw anyway).

We have a nib 15 Slingblade in storage.  Was holding out on the right offer from a few select staffers but if the right price comes along I'll let it out of my hands

Seems like the most sought after hard to find NIB balls (15lb especially) are:

Raging Red Fuze
Attitude 3
Original Pearl Pulse
Apex Adrenaline
Tour Power
Fire Storm
Thunderflash Urethane
Triton Heat Original
Triton Elite Original

DJ,

I still have my Sling, but if it ever bites the dust, you will be the first call!

Simply the only ball I want and care for it more then ANY other ball made is my Gold Rhino Pro gouged up and down the other side still hooks with the best of them and has probably thousands of games by now bowled with  since release every week for anywhere from 3 to 100 games in each week had many times where its been used 60 or so games of practice in a week but also my dad who used it till the last 3 years NEVER cleaned it or had it resurfaced or anything so I got the thumb plugged and redrilled and I say why fix what isnt broken it rolls with the best of them however carry is starting to become a problem with it which is why Id like to replace it if anybody has one for sale or knows of a ball with exactly the same reaction PLEASE let me know. Until then my vibe, awesome hook, intense inferno and xxxl(best ball second to rhino).

Power Machine

I don't even know if there's a current ball out that I even want to replace it with simply because of the extreme flip motion the PM has. I sold it once and had a hard time after that finding a similar ball to it so I bought it again less than 3 months later.

For me it has to be the Track Crunch Time. NIB sitting in the closet. Still throwing the old one from time to time.
