Most reviews on this site are positive; however, I would like to know what ball was disappointing to you! It's tough to pick through all this glamorizing reviews.

#1 Choker in the 10th Frame

Storm VG was not a match for me. It was over/under. I tried different surface combos with no luck. It was likely the layout that made the difference. My 920T needed a lot of surface adjustments before I could read it with any confidence.

I had the same experience as well, I was about to give up on my 920T, but I played with the surface a lot and now it's the second favorite ball that I own. Kind of weird to, because the reaction is has given me has completely changed. When I first got it, the ball was a smooth even strong rolling bowling ball, now the ball flips instead of rolls. Considering I already have a 505T, which rolls plenty, it opened up a new spot in my arsenal and gave me an earlier version of my 920A which is one of those balls that is so good you just need to get out of it's way and you'll do fine.

That's exactly how my 920T reacted. Smooth in the beginning and after some lines on it, it started flipping.

The worst ball I've ever thrown was the Columbia Backyard Bully. It was terrible for me.

A close 2nd was the original Storm Furious.

Some other real turds were:

TPC Warrior

Anything in the Xcel or Game lines from Ebonite

Track Magic

I have to say that I have had bad luck with the last several Ebonite I had bought.... By the names you cam gauge when I stopped buying them...

Ok I'll chime in,the two ultimate turds I had were the dreaded Storm Duece and the equally bad AMF Bone Ball. Both were immensly speed and condition sensitive,and hit amazingly soft.

Here's a small list of "personal" duds
1. Track 607ASE: was not my tantrums replacement
2. Ebonite shooter: one expensive spare ball
3. AMF nighthawk: another spare ball
4. Storm anarchy: over/under nightmare
5. Storm trauma: lots of hook all... At all the wrong angle
6. Everything stamped elite, stuff never ever matches up with me.
7. Motiv GT1: possibly drilled wrong for me should probably take off list... Oh well it stays.
List compiled in NO particular order.

Ive really only had two that I didnt match up with at all, multiple surface changes and multiple drills

1) Brunswick C System 3.5............ball either rolled out or didnt read the lane depending on surface

2) Track 607A.................................Couldnt trip the 10 ever!!

When I was with Roto/Storm two balls that sold amazing in my shop but I couldn't stand were the 2nd Dimension and Cell Pearl. (even though I loved the original cell)

Currently the Track products I wasn't very happy with have been the 607A and 300T. Neither were what I expected....again....selling well in my shop and good customer response but for me.....not so much.

Storm Attitude Shift. I will say in the balls defense it was a "Pro CG" ball, that came with nearly 4 oz of top weight!! My driller had to drill all the way to China to get the excess top out.It was just a lazy rolling ball for me,specializing in pocket 8-10s LoL.Even smelled kinda wierd too.Some Cranberry-orange scent.

My most annoying dud ball was the Columbia Chaos. The only chaos it caused was consistently lowering your score...
