I have been thinking about buying a Hole Pounder Solid, what are your thoughts about this ball?  What are its pro's and con's?  What conditions does it really shine on?

Message h82b2nd28 (screen name) thats David Atwood hes with Banger bowling. He could answer your questions that you have. Also if you go to their site they have the Live Help feature and they could also answer some of the questions you may have. I'm not familiar with their stuff so I could not recommend it.

The solid would be great for you if you are on heavy-oil lane conditions, have high ball speed, have low revs. If you need more info. You can check BJI or BTM. Bowling mags that list ball reviews.

I don't have a Hole Pounder Solid, but I do have a Hole Pounder Pearl and a Hole Finder Pearl, both I purchased for dry to medium conditions, which I have had to bowl on a lot.  I just had them punched up and guess what, I have not had any dry conditions that I was used to bowling on and have been having more medium to heavy oil.  The lanes were too oily for the Hole Pounder Pearl, so I used the Hole Finder Pearl and did pretty good with it.  At a tournament I bowled 3 games with scores of 234, 278, and 244.  But like I mentioned, I don't have the solid, but I am sold on Banger!

Like NicholasE mentioned, get in touch with David Atwood from Banger and he will answer any and all questions that you might have.
