Ballreviews Needs Your Suggestions For Updating The Site

Hello Everyone-

      We are looking to update the site with new features, and a better forum to keep Ballreviews as the best ball review site out there.  We are looking to add reviews for shoes, bags, and accessories.   Also we are going to implement video and picture uploads.  We are looking to you guys for any suggestions you have for the following categories - Layout, Content, Navigation of the site, and Forum Tools.  Please feel free to post any suggestions you have for these categories, but try to keep it short and sweet.  

Example post:  Forum Tool - I would like to have a better way of searching the forum.

      We thank you for your suggestions, and help in making Ballreviews the best it can be.

rating/feedback system for transactions....include both parties in the transaction and tie to display associated with username.

i too would like to see moderation, post counts , and most def. a space limit for signatures.

Since this is a ball review site....

A standard format for writing a review would be appreciated. Some items to include are layout information, bowler's PAP, surface prep and lane conditions. I'm sure others can elaborate.

Reviews that consist of "This ball is the best ball ever and I just shot 300 with it and my average went up 25 pins with it and it hits like a truck go buy it now." are entirely useless and should be deleted. They do nothing but diminsh the site.

How about not allowing clowns to pose as other users by slightly changing a user name to reflect or denigrate another Ball Review user.  JMO.

example: neckRoMANcer posing as Necromancer.

Better moderation would be great!

Groups or Clubs would be an idea.
For example a Manufacturer could sponsor a membership of bowlers
aka such as "Roto Grip Kingdom" "HammerHeads" etc.

I would like to see a way for thread originators to delete replies to their post that have NOTHING to do with the post.

If you want to know what i am talking about just visit the Lane 1 forum and pick any topic...it all ends up in a urinating contest betwen 2 or 3 guys hashing over the same crap time and time again...and guess what? IT has nothing to do with the original posters question.

I would like to be able to go to the later pages of a thread without having to open the whole thread first.  Like having the page numbers of the thread available to click on.  I hope that makes sense.

This is a joke right?  

The original post is well over a year old and the only difference that really sticks out is the added advertising.

Moderation would be nice, but I still think that leaving it up to individuals in the form of the ignore list is enough.
