Ok Im bowling in a scratch tournament tonight, the pattern is old Cheetah-35 ft., and the surface is first generation Brunswick Pro anvilane. 

So far, I have four balls that I am on the fence about taking, they are:

Track 607A SE, Pin down under bridge, hole on my pap, surface is 500/2000 no polish

Seismic Aftermath- Pin above middle finger, no hole 500/4000 no polish

Storm Eraser-pin above ring, no hole 500/4000 no polish

Seismic Raging Bull Charged-pin down under ring, no hole 4000 oob with polish.

Also, these are possible replacements:

Storm Hot Rod SS Pearl-lower diff., pin under ring and no hole

C300 Pure Swing-Pin above ring finger, dbl thumb hole, really smooth ball

C300 Momentum Swing-Pin high above bridge, hole on pap

Hammer Black Widow- Pin above bridge, no hole

Ok, out of the balls I have listed what would you take? Im gonna say I will have space for 5 balls max. FYI, my specs are 425 rpm’s, 23* tilt, 60-90* axis rotation, 17 mph ball speed. Pap is 4 7/8">, 7/8"^, right handed.

My main emphasis when I bowl on the Cheetah pattern is the surfaces on the balls in my arsenal. The Cheetah pattern is the shortest at 35' but has the most oil by volume. Since you will be bowling on Brunswick synthetics we know that the lane surface itself is hard. We don't know about the CONDITION of the lane surface though. The topography of the lanes can make all the difference in the world. Therefore, you should have an arsenal of bowling balls that are dull( under 800 grit ), smooth sanded( 1,000 thru 4,000 Abralon ), and polished. These figures will need to be adjusted based upon your ball speed, axis roation & tilt, rev rate, etc. Good luck !
