bending a wrist support
« on: November 06, 2015, 12:47:12 PM »
I have a Roby's (sp) extra wrist support. Was wondering if anyone has tried bending (curving) one into a more cupped position. Really don't like the Gizmo,etc... Just cant feel the ball.

Roby's original? the one with the metal in the palm and back?>

The metal in the palm can be removed.

The back brace, I guess you can bend it. But why? just curious....

I did it years ago on the old Robbies gladiator, so it didn't hold my palm so open and so it fit my span better. It works just remember your locked into that position.

I use a Moro Pro-release (extended) I like it better than the other adjustable braces.

I bent my Gladiator also. I still use it some, but it is becoming really worn and on the verge of falling apart. Wish they still made them so I could replace it, but they no longer do.

I also use a Moro Pro-Release (extended) now and then.

Why ? Would like to try a slightly more cupped hand position.

I used to bend my Mongoose slightly because I didn't like my wrist totally flat, but I don't use it anymore.
