As stated above, this thread has been posted  many times, and you'll see tons of different responses.. Use what works best for you and your budget.. Don't think there is a BEST.. they ALL work, just preference..
I use Simple Green, 50/50 w/ water.. a gallon a Lows is cheaper then most of your name brands for 9 -10 oz bottle..

I agree with you that Legends/Lanemaster Cleaner is good. As far as turning a yellow microfiber towel black in a month of cleaning balls, I can do that also using Black Magic Ultimate Rejuvenator cleaning any of my balls including the Lanemaster balls as you mentioned.

Another vote here for Legends cleaner and Black Magic Ultimate Rejuvenator.

I had used Legends cleaner 4/5 years ago, but after a while my proshop stopped stocking them, so I switched to Black Magic Ultimate Rejuvenator, it's really great and it's cheaper than Legends cleaner (from my proshop at least). Black Magic is so good that I bought two more bottle for future use just in case!

My Zone Classic has had many miles but Black Magic Ultimate Rejuvenator has managed to keep its reaction to as good as new (re-surfaced once).

I know there are a few here say that they never clean their bowling balls, but from my experience regular maintenance with a good cleaner is the key.
