This is yellow-ish and is water based. The one I like which is called Extreme is blue tinted and is alcohol based. It is no longer offered at Buddies because the company has ceased production.Genesis Evolution Maxx,https://www.buddiesproshop.com/shop/genesis-evolution-maxx-bowling-ball-cleaner-4-oz-6001/is supposed to be the same formula, but it smells pretty bad. It does clean well.At this point I Prefer Neo-Tac's Hook-It, but you still must be careful using it.
what about vise cleaners? anyone tried it?

I have been using Clean and Dull for years, and I will continue to use it because it works.
Currently I am using the Vise Clean & Tacky ball cleaner with good results. It's strong enough to do the job, but not toxic enough that I feel the need for gloves.

It doesn't say "Clean and Tacky".I searched for "Vise Clean and Tacky" and nothing showed up. Vise's own web site does not show it.Can you point me to a reference web page or where you bought it online?I'm curious about it.Thanks,Jeff
It's just on the label and may not be the name. I included it just to be extra specific for clarification and it did the opposite.. Sorry for the confusion.
