BEST BALL FOR LIGHT OIL

WHAT WOULD BE THE BEST BALL FOR LIGHT OIL RIGHT NOW I HAVE AN FREEZE HYBRID AND TROPICAL BREEZE HYBRID WHAT BALL WOULD PROBABLY HOOK LESS THAN THEM.

One option would be to consider urethane since the Freeze and Tropical Breeze Hybrids you mention are already pretty mild reactives.  You may want to look at the Storm Natural Pearl as a step down.

Have an Black U Dot II Two piece ball and it rolled earlier than my breeze really do not fit well so maybe redrill for better fit try it before buying ball

You can also consider a plastic ball with the PBA layout (link below) or the Hammer Taboo Spare ball.  --  JohnP

The Freeze is not and never has been a light oil ball, unless you're extremely speed dominant.

The Tropical Breeze is a light oil ball, unless you're rev dominant; then it can have an extreme backend that makes it very hard to control on dry lanes.

If the original poster is rev dominant, then the Slingshot is the next step down from the Tropical Breeze.

If he is not rev dominant, then a polished Urethane is the next step down. Since no current urethane comes polished, I suggest the Blue Hammer with a good coat of polish.

Storm is supposedly coming out with a pearl/solid combination urethane that is polished, but I don't know the availability date.

Sling shot is PK17 which is an older resin and an .020 diff core or so...it will be cleaner and a slower response....

The super natural is the one that charlest is speaking about...the manic/fringe and other low end pieces last year came out in may, but announced in February. ..

Of the equipment seen in that deleted "leak" here, the Super Natural may be the only one that we see come to the market.  It's already on the USBC approved ball list and Storm's next ball release will be in April for the Hot, Tropical and Ice lines.

carry is strange looking at times, but it getds the job done
couple 7 pins (LH here) stopped me from 300-300 finsih

but it has to be dry, im in an old wood lanes THS with light volume and totally fried heads.

this thing is money

tried many things here

JET - original, works at times, have a few honor scores with it
razor, slingshot, natural, U2 classic, blue hammer

300a is OK, has a 2" pin-pap with some surface (polished, but lightly scuffed by hand)
blue hammer is currently in the bag, but hooks at the arrows and goes straight.

I bowled a double shift there yesterday for S/D tourn.
2nd shift was fried, the taboo spare was on the nose every 3rd shot. couldnt move inside far enough, when i did finally move in, ball skated on what was left of the 3 drops of oil to begin the day....

I like older versions of today's Shouts and Screams from Rotogrip.

The Sonic X Solid(very smooth) and Sonic X pearl!  Pretty smooth on a short shot both especially my pin under ring solid!
