best ball in your bag
« on: January 12, 2016, 09:35:46 AM »
What is the best ball in your bag for THS that is still available to purchase and why? I've been using Big B brands for past couple years, but am open to all options.

I have several pieces from Roto, Storm, Motiv, and Visionary. However, regardless of where I go, I always take one bag with me that has my Optimus Solid and Venom Shock with me. Between those 2, I can cover about everything other than extremes.

Yes I know you wanted one....but these 2 compliment each other so well it is unreal. I bowl at 5 different places and I switch in and out various equipment, but these 2 always stay in the bag.

900 Global Respect. Personally I think it's better than every Storm equivalent ball. Shiny it can go through the fronts super clean and go hard off the friction. Duller it reads with great continuation. If I were in a league I'm certain I would have an 800 with it by now.

Right now my Track paradox is my best piece in my bag although after the first game and a half i have to put it away but thats when i pull out my new track heat and just throw the same line rest of the night and not miss a beat. I cant wait for the paradox pearl to be released.

Motiv Forza is an absolute beast on THS. I definitely wouldn't mind buying a 2nd one just because it's a great ball.

DV8 Diva Divine. Great recovery, great carry, very versatile. It's easily my go-to ball.

Hammer Bad Intentions Hybrid. Very versatile, been crushing the pocket since I got it a few weeks ago.

Melee Hook is always my first ball out of the bag during league.  Composite cover and low rg symmetrical block with high diff is a hard combo to beat.

I've only had it for a few weeks but the Primal Rage Remix has been great on the few heavier house shots I've bowled on here. It gets through the pins so well. I haven't left a tenpin in the first 6 games I've thrown with it. It drives so hard I'm trying to stop it from going past the 9 pin most of the time.

Lane Masters Power Strike. Reminds me of the old Track Slash. Smooth, controllable, and continuation is powerful. Great benchmark ball for me. Also, the cover is real easy to adjust.
