What is the best ball in your bag for THS that is still available to purchase and why? I've been using Big B brands for past couple years, but am open to all options.
-
Motiv Venom Shock. It's the best ball available for the money in my opinion. It works across a wide variety of conditions and styles.
-
This is a difficult question to answer given that THS conditions can vary for a variety of
different reasons. However, at the risk of going out on that proverbial limb, I would have to vote for my Game Breaker 2. If I was restricted to just one ball, this is the one I would choose. I can play outside the hill with it on the fresh with ease . I can also stay
with it longer as the shot breaks down.
-
For me its Motiv Venom Shock. Very versatile ball with good carry long lasting and affordable - And still in the Bag but not available any more Columbia Arch Rival
-
For the 40 foot house shots in our area, my Paradox is by far my best option. However it really depends on your game and the surface. As a lower rev low speed stroker I have to move in quickly on the worn anvil lane surfaces. Paradox strength and continuation for my game give me more hit than I can get out of my other equipment.
-
For me, it's the Brunswick Brute Strength, bar none. I can use it all three games, it responds well to hand-position changes, and it carries from all angles. If you're looking for a great all-around piece, it's hard to find a better ball!
-
On a ths (or anything, really) give me my Night Hawk SE. If I had to put one ball in the bag, it would be that.
-
Mine would be my Respect Pearl, I can use that on just about any THS I have bowled on.
-
AMF Pure Adrenaline. Works on every house shot.
-
I'm in love with my Tag. Still have to try a Venom Shock though.
-
Pyramid blueprint project. Went to this in late October, got rid of my crux, lights out, and black widow red legend. Very versatile, have two drilled differently, covers everything I see
-
For me, the Motiv Jackal.
-
Without question the Motiv Venom Shock. A extremely versatile ball and a true THS killer.
-
I think as far as versatility and bowling on THS goes, my DV8 Vandal would be the best one in my bag. For tournaments, it has to be the Nirvana, hands down.
-
Without a doubt --- STORM LOCK --- best rolling - hitting ball I have had in a while! So smooth and consistent. Best choice I made! I did have to adjust the cover and polish it to get the correct reaction. Most of the time it has been my go to ball.
-
I have several pieces from Roto, Storm, Motiv, and Visionary. However, regardless of where I go, I always take one bag with me that has my Optimus Solid and Venom Shock with me. Between those 2, I can cover about everything other than extremes.
Yes I know you wanted one....but these 2 compliment each other so well it is unreal. I bowl at 5 different places and I switch in and out various equipment, but these 2 always stay in the bag.
-
I throw motiv forzas pinup and down . for me its versatile and crazy smooth.
-
900 Global Respect. Personally I think it's better than every Storm equivalent ball. Shiny it can go through the fronts super clean and go hard off the friction. Duller it reads with great continuation. If I were in a league I'm certain I would have an 800 with it by now.
-
Motiv Jackal, Ebonite Warrior...depending on the lanes.
-
Right now my Track paradox is my best piece in my bag although after the first game and a half i have to put it away but thats when i pull out my new track heat and just throw the same line rest of the night and not miss a beat. I cant wait for the paradox pearl to be released.
-
Motiv Forza is an absolute beast on THS. I definitely wouldn't mind buying a 2nd one just because it's a great ball.
-
DV8 Diva Divine. Great recovery, great carry, very versatile. It's easily my go-to ball.
-
Hammer Bad Intentions Hybrid. Very versatile, been crushing the pocket since I got it a few weeks ago.
-
Melee Hook is always my first ball out of the bag during league. Composite cover and low rg symmetrical block with high diff is a hard combo to beat.
-
Ebonite Mission....hands down my favorite ball..and just always works. I happen to have two now...one pin up, one pin down.
-
I've only had it for a few weeks but the Primal Rage Remix has been great on the few heavier house shots I've bowled on here. It gets through the pins so well. I haven't left a tenpin in the first 6 games I've thrown with it. It drives so hard I'm trying to stop it from going past the 9 pin most of the time.
-
Lane Masters Power Strike. Reminds me of the old Track Slash. Smooth, controllable, and continuation is powerful. Great benchmark ball for me. Also, the cover is real easy to adjust.
-
Brunswick Aura. On ball #2 using same layout as #1 and the ball is a must.
-
Right now it is definatly the Respect from 9G.
-
Brunswick Fortera Exile
-
AMF Unreal right now. Most consistent and most continuing ball i have at current moment until i drill more stuff this weekend then we will see.
-
My IQ Nano, gives me a great read and I can play several lines with it comfortably. It's the most trusted ball I've ever had in my bag
-
I was wondering at what surface do you keep your IQ Nano? Mine hooks too much for my typical house shot. Was thinking about polishing it up.
-
azo cheater by far!
-
Our house is generally on the dryer side and I am loving my Storm Skyrocket, I can just keep increasing speed and hold the same line or play multiple angles if the lanes dictate.
