Whats everyone's opinion on the best ball out right now on medium to heavy lanes. 

 

Something with a lot of backend action.  Or that just cuts through the oil with ease.

I have to agree with the Taboo, I bowl in three different houses (three different cities) and it seems that the Taboo is the single most used ball currently.

Seriously why do you ask?  What works for me may not work for you and what works for everyone well never I heard of a ball like that; one that works for every single person. The best ball well its what ever one matches up with you. Every company well most have top to bottom every lane conditions covered its all about match up, surface prep and drilling. Sorry if i come across rude but there isnt a couple weeks if that long go by that u dont see that; and the real problem is they throw so many new balls out that basicly do the same thing (but the new one is bigger stronger right) as the one most people just bought which in some cases a month or two old. Rather than ask what every person thinks is their opinion the best out talk to a good pro shop operator and ask what would be the best ball for me and have him watch you throw it'll save ya the time and money in most cases. I had to learn the hard way i use to buy the biggest newest ball on the market now i look at the numbers and how they compare to what balls that have worked for me in the past.

Taboooo is the hottest ball at our house, winning 2 tournaments on TV doesn't hurt either..

I will say, I throw a 14lb ball and am average as far as ball speed and I have a low rev rate.   I am just not getting the snap/break I need on the back end right now.  

 

I did purchase a ball that should be a great medium ball once I figure out what high end ball to match with it.  The medium ball I bought was a  Zone, Vapor Zone.  I know the weight pin/dot on the ball is positioned above my middle finger.  I was hoping this would have a little more back end pop.  It has more of an arc, not the pop. It seems ok once I get a few games going on the lane.  It still doesn't have that hard snap I am looking for.I am hoping something new and high end would be able to do that for me. 

 

I will check out all the balls you guys have mentioned.  I am kind of leaning towards the Taboo, Alpha Max or the Raw Profit. 

 

Maybe me tossing out those couple of specs could help me narrow it down a little as far as advice from everyone on what could help me.

I'd have to go with the 505T as well.  Not too much, not too little.
