For me it was the Ebonite Thunderbolt. Those glory days.(to much Bourbon) This is beginning to sound like Al Bundy and "Polk High"

And I'm curious to find out whether the NIB Beast I've got upstairs is a urethane or Flexcel version.

OK Crank maybe when you get these posted it will settle the debate once and for all. Because there are to many people that know there was urethane Beast,  they all cant be wrong.

Never threw them but my dad has an AMF Gold Angle Ebonite Thunderbolt M/D.. just recently gave away a Burgandy Hammer, Green Nail, and an AMF Cobra. And he swore by them until he took a few years off of bowling. Not sure but is the Blue Zone Proactive resin?

Actually from the looks of the ads, thats backwards. 5 teeth for the urethane and 4 for the reactive. But not having the actualy balls here I can't verify that.

I'm sure the original box probably did, but it disintegrated several years ago, and I didn't have the presence of mind to save the label from the box.  However, I *might* have the drill sheet around here somewhere, have to check.

The Beast is now sitting in an Ebonite box.  Say what you will about Ebonite covers, but their ball boxes seem to last forever.
