I think the relative word here is "pro."
Roughly 3 years ago, a similar 3-hour "pro-am" clinic was offered here in town, hosted by WRW. It was advertised that there would be at least 2 "pros" instructing at this clinic.
There were 3 there; WRW, and two people from the local pro shop at the alley hosting the clinic. Everyone didn't have the mindset that the two from the pro shop were "pros", because they were the local guy; we see them every day/week. Technically, they were pros; they have their PBA cards.
Yes, we did get some instruction from WRW, and he was detailed in it with everyone he could talk to (outside of the various photo ops/autogragh signings).
My point is it all depends on who the pro is and how much instruction they are going to be able to give. It would have been great if WRW and Leanne Hulsenberg were able to run the clinic (Leanne was local here at the time), but any face time with a touring pro and get to learn from them is a win.
