If you check, they're sold out of everything but the LevRG Response in 16 lb.  --  JohnP

IMHO, wrong question or point of view. If you want to buy a cheap ball, go for it, and do not ask for a justification here when you do not know what you actually want from that piece

Actually  I know exactly what I want from "the piece".. I was more less asking if it was worth it, to invest in older technology ..

People on this site just like to pick on every little thing, they arnt happy unless they are complaining or putting someone down...

I would suggest getting a t road pearl if you can get your hands on one.

I hear ya.. Oh well no harm done.. Basically all i was looking to do was add a few ( 2-3 ) balls from clearance to add to the collection, since I could get 3 of them for the price of one new one, Im sure I could find something that might work

Was that ball any good?  That's a crazy price.  Kind of makes you wonder about the markups on bowling balls doesn't it?  It's not listed at buddiesproshop.com, $125 at bowling.com, $79 at bowlingball.com, and $114 at bowlersparadise.com.

What do you figure for shipping?  $15 on average?  Selling for $50 and still making money?

i think its cuz they are a few yrs old .. So at this point anything is a profit. I heard  the wild ride  is kind of like the rattler, but a lil less aggressive

I don't see anything wrong with it.  I'm actually a big fan of buying balls on close-out or clearance.

I've drilled over 40 balls in the past 6 years, and in general terms, they all do the same thing.....go down the lane, hook, and knock down pins.

The only bad part about buying older balls is eventually you will find something you really like and not be able to find it again.

Nothing wrong with buying last years balls for half of what a current model costs, or for what people are selling a used ball for!
