komike shoots 300

komike shoots his first sanctioned 300 at a tournament yesterday.

Congrats to him.  This is the second time I have seen him do it.  The first was during open play with people running all over the lanes with no lane etiquette.

I bet that this will one of many for this fellow Ballreviews.com member.

...funny thing is I shot my first "in a tournament 300" yesterday!  

It's going to be kind of cool to have an award ring from leap year...

He shot 300 but he also has 22 in a row, 268 then 300.  Yes it was a thunder road pearl, it was Darren McLaughlin's old ball!  LOL.  First game wasn't too good he was using an assault pearl and it was all over the place.  But when he broke out the TRP he want spare, then 22 in a row.  Anyway, it was a handicap doubles tournament and I think we won.  Mike averaged 229 in Los Angeles but managed to average 184 when he came up here so they used his bay area average.  Me, I am a buck 62.  Together we shot 1420 scratch.  Many of the other teams struggled but of course there were a few high scores here and there.  Handicap was 80% of 220.  You do the math.

Thanks guys! Took me awhile to finally shoot my 3. It feels good to finally have that monkey off my back. This makes up for my embarrassing 295 2 weeks ago. I can't believe I wheeled off 22 in a row. I wish I would have switched balls sooner. I could have shot an 8. The Peach and I ruled that tourney. Makes up for last year when we shot like crap.

Congrats Goof on your 3 as well...it is kinda funny having shot a 3 on a leap year. I hope this doesn't start a trend where I have to wait 'til next leap year to shot another one.

So thats why i havnt shot another one since my first in 2000..... dang.... oh well this is the year i guess!
