Question: What do you think is the best dry lane reactive ball currently in production?

My team moved to a new house this season and the lanes are dry. I use a Columbia Deep Freeze which I personally love for dry lanes and have bought a couple back-ups off ebay recently. But I still use 16# and my teammates use 15# and can not find them in that weight as they were discontinued yrs ago. Would like to recommend something for them if we return next season.

Its slightly weaker with a little less back end but a Tropical Storm is probably one of the closest balls.  Personally I love my Blue Hammer (way longer than true urethane) and my Path Rising for dry lanes but hear the Rhino is very good as well.

My favorite is the Storm Ride.  Need to start looking for something similar, anyone got any suggestions?

I've been using a ridiculous pearl for a while now it works well for me and I'm lower speed rev dominate.

I’ve been searching for a drier lane ball for a while. On the Storm front, my Joy Ride is too inconsistent. The Tropical’s usually aren’t enough, and the Match Up line is too much. I recently drilled up a Blue Hammer, and it’s too condition specific to be a general use drier lane piece.
 
I recently read a review of the Ebonite Turbo/R. It has the proven Gamebreaker 10.7 cover with a low differential core. It comes in a pearl or hybrid version. I got the hybrid drilled up, and it’s been very impressive so far. On an extreme wet/dry, I can still square up in the dirt and not have the ball overreact. In the nutshell, it’s a winner for drier or short sport patterns.

No single answer.  It depends a lot on your style.  Higher rev players are going to match up better with different equipment than lower rev players.  It also depends on what you mean by dry.  A shorter pattern with flying back ends presents different issues than a burned track where you are trying to keep from following the remaining oil in.
