Any bowlers out here who have bowled or are going to bowl in the Missouri state tournament? Just want to know what you thought of the house and the lane conditions.

I'm from Sedalia.

Going to the state tourney on 05-08-04 & 05-09-04.

If you go before I do, let me know what you think.

I've "prebowl" at AMF Pro-bowl.

Wood lanes, nice centre.

Good Luck.

i'm from cameron, missouri, and we'll be bowling on april 24th & 25th. amf nkc pro bowl has 48 lanes with synthetic lanes and wood approaches. the place has been really fixed up the past couple of years......new seats and tables in the setee area, new scorers and screens, new ball racks, etc.

I bowled the tourney 3/6 and 3/7. Did fairly well in singles, but my partner in doubles sucked and so did the majority of the team in the team event. I live in KC and bowl at that house on Sundays. The shot is not very forgiving if you can't adjust. You cannot swing the ball out very far. You either have to play down and in or just outside the middle arrow if you want to swing the ball a little. If you get the ball too far out, it will either slide off into the gutter or not recover and get to the pocket. I wish I could re-enter with another doubles partner knowing what I know now. Hope this helps. Good luck.
