BEST PARTICLE BALL?
« on: October 15, 2008, 03:55:41 PM »
Please tell me which do you believe is the BEST particle and WHY? I have started to go back to particle because I'm sick and tired of over/under. I am using a WORLD CLASS PARTICLE. With minor adjustments I can stay with it all night. I love it!!!  Much different adjustments with PARTICLE than reactive.

I THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!!!

MoRich Awesome Revs.  This ball gets very good length for a particle ball (mostly due to the fact that it is a pearl), and gives a nice smooth, readable, transition out of the oil.  This ball can cover a wide variety of conditions from medium to heavy, and the cover adjusts VERY easily to surface changes.  Another winner from MoRich.

For HEAVY oil the AMB particle Centaur is unbelievable.

ebonite big time(light load particle) and columbia power drive pearl(light load particle pearl).. the big time would always give me the same reaction and roll no matter the conditions(oily, med oil, light oil) and when the lanes would dry up too much and it started loosing some of its finish.. thats when the power drive particle pearl come in.. I could stand exactly where I was with the big time and the power drive pp would give me my pop back..

PS. hammer's blue particle blade was a great ball for heavy oil too..

I have a world class particle. I have added delayed reaction to it and have been able to use it all three games in league as long as there is oil somewhere on the lanes. I like the control of the lane masters particle. They don't want to burn up to early. I plan on getting another world class particle and drill it weak. I hope to find a Terminal, Big Bang or Yeah baby if possible and have an all particle line up to cover mediums to heavy.

I would have to say the Awesome Revs because of the versatility, it can be played on just about anything with the proper surface, but my Flipside Alter Ego is also favorite of mine, very smooth off the breakpoint.

i know it's knew but i got a feeling the ogre particle will be in this discussion i've drilled seveeral and they are great strong and smooth with some really good pin action and the lanes dont seem to effect it as much as you would expect it rolls true no matter what just my 2cents

You are thinking of the granite gargoyle. The ogre particle is great and the coverstock is easily adjustable.
