Anyone ever do this?
« on: October 15, 2008, 01:11:06 AM »
I am really curious if anyone has ever had the game like I did last night. I started with strikes and the first 5 frames. Gutter ball for the first ball in the 6th as it fell off my hand. I spared to fill the 6th and struck off the sheet for a 270. Anyone ever do this or seen it done?
xxxxx-/xxxxxx
Just curious.
thanks

yes I seen it but little different

about 5 years ago in league

guy went front 7  then fouled after getting a strike threw a fill ball
that was a strike for a spare off sheet for a 270.

like throwing 13 strikes for a 270   that was a rough foul. the guy never
had a 300 either.

A couple weeks ago in our PBA experience league a lady doubles, gutter & spare pick up and then off the sheet for 270.

About two years ago in a THS league I watched a guy next to me go 300, 270 and 252 for 822.  In the second game, he slipped, fell down and fouled on the 7th ball after the front 6.  He picked it up and then went off the sheet.  After falling down, he looked down and had a french fry stuck on his slide foot between the sole and the heel.  He had been just talking with his kids who were eating the french fries.  Oddly enough he struck on the shot he fell down on.  His teammates also all struck that frame so he had to buy.

I just saw a guy do it last week in my league...front 4, gutter/spare, sheet for 270, but that was a first.
