Best personal ball spinner
« on: May 23, 2011, 11:14:56 PM »
Im in the market for a personal ball spinner and have a few questions.

First. Best brand?
Second. 1 speed or 2 speed? Is it worth the extra money to get the 2 speed?

Best place to buy?

I have had several models and brands and I feel the best for the money is the Vertex 1/2 hp personal spinner. It is a 1 speed but IMO that's all you need for doing normal maintenance on your equipment. I had the Donkee 2 speed spinner and to me that was a piece of junk due to the all the vibration. The Vertex is very steady on just a table. No need to bolt it down.

I have had my latest Vertex 1/2 spinner for over 4 years and not 1 single issue with it. You can't go wrong with thier excellent customer service as well.

I too have the Vertex spinner, and it's been with me for almost 5 years. It's light weight for easy storage, and easy to clean.

A personal spinner from Innovative Bowling Products is the only way to go. The pro shop I've gone to for the last 16 years will use no other brand.......theirs  is going on 22 years now.  My personal spinner from Innovative is solid as a rock as has a 5 year warranty.

A one speed spinner is fine for personal use.

Have had a 1/3 hp Vertex for over 7 years with many, many coverstock changes.
It has been flawless. I'd probably get the 1/2 HP model today but it wasn't available when I got mine.
Customer service has been exemplary.

Still can't stop it even with excessive hand pressure.

Yes, they are the best two choices. I have had the 1/2 HP Vertex for approx 7 years with no vibration and no problems. However, I would not be afraid to buy the 1/2 Innovative Spinner designed for the people doing their own balls at home either as Innovative has excellent products also. IMO, you can't go wrong with either spinner.
