Best skid/snap
« on: April 10, 2007, 06:39:54 PM »
In your opinion, what was the best skid snap ball made in the past few years?  Length and backend is what we are looking at here.  Also, which company has produced the best skid snap balls over the past few years

IMHO, Morich has produced with the S&A and the AF balls that have a very high skid/flip potential, if drilled properly.

Another ball that has some potential in this category is Ebonite's SR300, with a high RG and medium-low differential. Back end galore, given you have enough head oil to get the aggressive coverstock far enough down the lane...

Another, almost antique ball that comes to my mind is the Reaction Rip from Columbia. Polished pearl reactive coverstock, paired with a high RG and high differential. This thing has also a very good basis to deliver a late and flippy back end.

How does the Dynothane Thing Returns and Legends Big R Bang stack up to the better skid snap balls of the past few years?

I dont care how you drill them (I have owned a few of each with different drillings), The Morich core is rolly by nature and so is Brunswick covers. They will offer a strong arc but, not a flip at all.

Storm is all about skid/flip and if you want skid flip, look there.

If it is all about length and flip, get a Fired Up, T Road or, a Domination.

Track arsenal angular.  The name doesn't lie!

Unless you have one with a 2-inch pin and only 1.25 oz of top weight. Then it's an Arsenal Rolly As A Tire.

for me, it is the Storm Recharge

When a house bowler misses the mark, misses the break point and strike, for many ppl its called a wallshot. When a pro does that its call adjustment

When a house bowler gets his finger stuck in the ball and fall on the lanes, for many ppl its called lame bowler. When a pro does that its called the Machuga flop! ha i like this one.

Big shot drilled like mine(see in profile) is the most angular ball Ive ever thrown. But the fired up is still in the top 3 angular balls, even if its not the newest ball out there. The domination is not to far behind either.
