Have has trouble getting around the ball should I change my thumb pitch from 1/4 rev and 0 palm to 1/4 rev and 1/8 palm I stay behind the ball alot very little axis tilt.
-
If your fit is correct no need to change it. Concentrate on making sure your thumb is at 12 after you release the ball.
-
Not sure why you want to get around the ball. Most of us are trying to stay behind the ball and minimize axis rotation. Having said that the best way for me to get around the ball is to actually set up with my hand further toward 2 o'clock.
-
Increasing palm pitch will help a little. Moving your little (finger) in close to your ring
finger while spreading your index finger will also help.
-
I'm not projecting the ball to the right I used to have an 1/8 palm and changed to 0 at the suggestion of PSO.
-
Like ccrider said, if your span and pitches are correct then there isn't really a reason to change it. Just try smaller tweaks with hand positions and timing
-
Get your thumb out.
-
I think your right notrhface28

Get your thumb out.
But this does not mean that the best way to stay behind the ball is to keep your thumb in the ball longwr does it?
-
Post a video of your release. One from behind at a normal distance then another zoomed in a bit more.

I just shortened my span from stretched to fingertip to much more relaxed. 3/16 of an inch. My tilt is dramatically increased and my PAP has moved in almost an inch and up slightly with the change.
With the less tilt style I was quite good on early 2000s flood the lefty shots...Heavy roll! That method Doesn't work as well on most of today's less oiled conditions league conditions. We will see!
I believe I am still staying behind the ball.
