Didn't you guys know that the extra flapping generates extra revs as the ball travels down the lane?  Once the ball is released, continued flapping creates a wind gust that propells the ball to continue generating revolutions.  It's a proven fact!  Just like rolling a small snowball down and hill and having it turn into a giant one.  The flapping causes the ball to gain power!!! Go, Go, Gadget Flapping Ball!!!!
