With my leagues reaching completion last night, I am already looking forward to next season.
The house i bowl at will have brand new pins and kick plates.
I will have a new team. Instead of 220, 203, 199, 190, and 175 1 leftuy, we will have 215+, 209, 203, 199 and 195 2lefties, and the bottom 3 we are all young and improving. Also, no one plays near eachother on the lane.
My new span will be in all of my balls, which will allow me to play more inside to a deep outside break point by making a tweaked release more comfy.
Anyone else looking for big changes next year?

New league in a new house. Can't wait.

Good thoughts. I will spend the summer working out with a new ball. I am waiting for the companies to release their fall line up of new products before I buy the ball. I am looking for a pearl coverstock.

Looking for a pearl to have what kind of shape? Oil?

I would like a pearl coverstock that has an even continuous arc. From the what I have read on the companies' websites, Roto Grip's Shatter seems to fit the bill. Storm's Tour Pearl also looks good. I like what I have read about the Vow as well, but I want to check with the guys in my league. And I want to see the new offerings this summer.
Thanks for the note.

My buddy loved the Edge.Effects

i also loved the defiant edge. shot my third 300 with it this year. very good roll nice smooth arc on the back end.

The Hooks are very smooth. I would keep the pin down, because if you do put the pin up, it can get a bit sharper off of the dry. Personally, I have a solid and hybrid in the bag, and could see putting a pearl in there too.

It will be all about wrist positioning and hand release work for me over the summer. I need to get much better at manipulating my ball as the patterns shift or breakdown. Simply switching equipment is not always the answer.
I will definitely have fun doing it though.

Bowling a Kegel sport shot league this summer with my 14 yr old son. As for leagues next season, I'm giving up my Sunday morning league in lieu of competing in more tournaments.
