My wife and I have been bowling Vegas handicap leagues for the last several seasons now, and she has always tolerated me taking it seriously while she just goes to have a good time, and enjoy herself. Over the years I have bought a new ball for her here and there to try and help her with her game, although she wants to do as well as she can, she doesn't like going to practice by herself, so she gets very little practice time in. Steadily her average has crept up, and she has now reached 160, but this past Saturday night was her night, finds a line, lets the ball roll off her hand smoothly, nails 7 in a row and shoots 268, earning her a 100 pins over average watch. She still couldn't quite get the 600 series she said she has been after (586 for the night), but at this rate that will come soon enough. Fun to watch someone have a night like that.....if they're on your team, lol.
