Release ball too early
« on: January 21, 2006, 06:55:20 PM »
I found that sometimes I release the ball too early; even before the heel's of my sliding foot and sometimes when my bowling arm is parallel to the floor, I start my release. Are there any tips, drills or methods to correct this ? Please advice...thanks

I would have you span and pitches checked.  I am guessing here, but have a stretched span or too much rev pitch in your thumb will cause an early release.

it might be that your wrist isn't cupped enough and it's falling out during your swing.

Thanks guys, I will get the ball checked and at the same time do some one step release to check on my timing...
