Big Bully Question (Posted in Columbia page too)

I'm not a cranker and the league lanes I've been bowling on have reached almost tsunami conditions.  I'm throwing a Big Bully with decent success for my skill level (170-180 range) but am not getting that snap at the end. I'm thinking of sanding it with an 800-grit sandpaper after I clean it up before tonight.  Yea or nay?
