Big Payday for Wendy MacPherson

Wendy won the women's 34 ABS Japan Open.  In the title match she shot 300.  The 300 game was worth about $121,000 (10,000,000 Yen) and the title was worth about $36,000 (3,000,000 Yen).

How many people who threw 300s can say that?
No less in a championship match on TV!

She has always been a great bowler and it seems she will continue to be such.

She will bring back to the U. S. many Japanese yen.

the crazy part is, in the mens part of this tourny..  the guy who won, shot 2 / 300's and one was in the final match, so he too got the bonus $$ too.....

Now, I'm wondering why more of the men from the PBA dont head to Japan and bowl there???  I mean the JPBA is paying out more than our PBA....

Odd watching them trade out shots in the 10th frame.

Bowling is way more popular over there. (obvious by the amount of bowling balls released there vs here) I love watching the P-league on youtube. It's not the pro level but it is still good bowling to watch.( you know because it shows bowling, not just commercials and commentary)
