big time vs absolute

no contest..last (2) weeks..absolute has had "CARRY" problems no matter the style or pattern...

The Big Time was about the nicest rolling ball thrown on the show this year. With their new offerings, Ebonite is on their way back.

Yes, but remember that's no fluffer out there throwing that, Tommy Jones has got game. I'm not so sure he couldn't make the absolute look just as good (maybe even better). Just giving credit where credit's due.

I too was giving credit where credit is due. Tony Reyes is an exceptional bowler, and he was giving the Absolute a fair look.

Tommy Jones throws a great ball - very smooth, very powerful. The Big Time sure did look great. Curious to see how it looks for a league bowler. I'll have to see if any of my fellow league bowlers picks one up.

The Absolute just didn't seem like a good match for the conditions, like a few of you have said. I'm thinking that an Intense Inferno would've been a little better, as it should go a little longer before checking up, resulting in more energy at the pins. The Absolute looked a little flat for both guys at times. Maybe even a Punisher would've worked well. None of my league bowlers have started throwing an Absolute either. I want to see how this ball looks in the hands of mere mortals such as myself .

I think the original inferno would have matched up much better than the absolute, which looked like it was losing steam.

i dont think you could do a side by side comparason of the 2 one is solid and one is pearl. not to mention the AI is one of big B's top balls were as the big time is in the show time line (one of the mid ranged). god, it only costs 87.50 but i must say i have not been impressed with the AI carry at all

what one person calls carry, another calls luck.

Reyes hit the pocket stoned, dead cold 8 times out 9. TJ hit it maybe 5 out of 9. The best bowler today did not win. The best user of shallow gutters and springy side boards did. End of story.

TJ did not bowl badly; Reyes just bowled better.
