Dear World Bowlers,
I hope this letter reaches you in good health and happiness. Over the last few months I have had quite a few phone calls to ask when we are running another event. Besides being very busy I have been working with Mr. Mo Pinel from “Mo Rich Enterprises†and “Resurfaced by Us†to come up with a new plan for future events. Mo has extensive knowledge not only on bowling ball design but also on lane surfaces, lane oils and lane conditions, with his knowledge we truly feel that we are headed in the right direction to make our events better.
During the last year you have probably noticed that ALL of the events we ran have been extremely high scoring making it tough for bowlers to want to come out and bowl every event. We have also noticed that it has been very difficult to try and make the lefty/righty issue fair. Two years ago on New Years Day the high lefty was 37th and was the only one to cash out of 50 spots. Last year lefties were 7 out of the top 10. Please know that I am not here to shut out any player whether they are lefty, righty, stroker or a big boomer. We are doing everything possible to make it as fair as possible for everyone.
The main reason for this letter is to let all bowlers know that we are working hard at making changes for all or our future events. We are
trying to make it fair and possibly more exciting by offering different lane patterns for every event we run.
Working with Mo we have designed 4 different lane patterns that will be used in rotating order at each event we run starting on New Years. These four patterns will include one that is quite easy, one that is very tough and two patterns that will fit in the middle of them.
Last year the scores were very high for New Years, this year we will use a pattern to make the scores more reasonable. The lane pattern will be posted at each event for all to see!!!! When Mo gets back from overseas we will have all four patterns and names for those patterns available to all bowlers. Finally Mo Pinel has offered his services this year to get these new patterns to work, Mo himself will be here for our 11th ANNUAL NEW YEARS DAY MARATHON and also for our NEW YEAR’S EVE SWEEPER to oversee the start of these new patterns. We believe this will give us the best chance of making it fair for everyone. Thanks for your time we hope to see you on New Years.
