My recommendation is out of production now, but I'll bet you can still find one--the Diesel Particle Pearl. It gets throught the heads very well, has a strong mid-lane read, and finishes very strong; especially if there's a bit of carrydown. It just might burn out on really dry back ends. It's very responsive to surface adjustments--shines up really well, yet you can scuff it up and use it like a solid if you like. Very low RG, very high differential, lots of flare. I'm surprised Hammer discontinued it while leaving the other two of the early Diesels on the market. I guess it was just a little too close to the solid particle version. A very good, very aggressive particle pearl.
