How do u become a staff member

Good question i would like to be answered hopefully with all these people on someone can tell me, what are the qualifications of becoming a staff member and what u have to do. i am really interested because one of the hammer staff member graduated and bowled for my school "Illinois State University", and i wanted to know what are the qualifications and requirements for even consideration of the title and prestige?

To be vague, you basically have to be good enough to make good showings at tournaments (so people know you) and be good at pushing whatever product you use.  Gotta win and sell.

I just starting  bowling last year i have an allright average but i wanted to become a staff member of somebody and grab a coach. not sure what company and really don't care cuz i throw everything. currenlty i have or had stuff from storm, columbia, ebonite, hammer and finally brunswick. So im not a really stuck on company however i will say i do like my big block from hammer and my zone from bruns. Which brings me to my next question: can anyone help answer this?

If you don't average 220+ on a house shot plus win a lot of tournaments, both locally and out of town, don't even worry about it.  Manufactures are looking for people to make their products look good and most important, improve sales.  There are tons of people with big averages, but if they don't help sell more balls, why would the company "waste" money by signing them to a contract?
