Definition of the term "Dirt"
« on: September 11, 2004, 08:48:41 AM »
Hey guys, gosh, I feel so dumb these days with some of the slang and bowling terms used these days.

I often see people using the word "Dirt," in their posts. Such as..

"I like to keep it out around the dirt."
or
"Keep it out of the dirt..."

Or something of that nature.
What does "Dirt," mean? Does it mean the gutter or outside boards? I'm lost!

Thanks everyone,
Ram
