Bird Dog Bowling
« on: July 12, 2004, 08:05:54 AM »
Is Bird Dog bowling still in business? I've sent 2 messages to them within the last 24 hrs. and have heard nothing back. This is unusual for them as I have bought things from them in the past and they would answer back the same day, and oft times within an hr. or so.

Isn't BirdDog the one run by Mike Austin?  He may have taken a vacation...send Tony a PM and see if he knows about vacation since he is in the Houston area.

Tony who?

I bought a 4 ball Storm Rolling Thunder bag from them not very long ago and I made a post on this site how great Mike Austin and their service was and Mike thanked me for the compliment, but said he does some drilling work for them but doesn't run the proshop there.

I already sent you a PM about this.  You are correct, Mike Austin does not own that website.  He helps they guy who does, however.

I'll e-mail Mike and let him know about this thread.

Sorry Tony. For whatever reason, I was unware that you were Tony. Give me 5 swats across my knuckles with a ruler for not reading closer.

Sorry Brick,

Have been really busy.  The young man that works for me has been bowling in Las Vegas the last 10+ days.  Haven't been doing much internet surfing.

Tony is correct.  I don't own Birddogbowling, I do have some interest that they do well though.  Their toll free number is forwarded to my personal cell phone most of the time, so that I can answer technical type questions about balls and such.  I do provide the drilling for Birddogbowling but, the site is separate from my pro shop.  Their money is their money etc.....

Tony did call me, so no swatting or any knuckles is required, at least not 5 and definitely not on your bowling hand!!!!

I would give you my shop number but it is not toll free.  Get the number of the Birddog site.

Hope that I can help!!!

MikeA.
