Black Friday on Tuesday
« on: November 27, 2008, 04:34:13 AM »
I was lucky enough to get my deals two days ago. The pro shop I frequent is running a sale on some balls. Conclusion: I got a new Pin Slasher for $170 and a new Break Pearl for $80. The Break Pearl is a 15 (I throw 14), but it's all good. I guess there really isn't a point to this post other than I'm happy that I have some new toys and I cannot wait to use them for the first time tomorrow morning. Pics of my new babies

Yeah, I've got spider legs for fingers

ALMOST got an S75 as well. Still might, but I'm trying not to go overboard.

Well, technically, you're right. The price on the S75 was lowered, so I could have gotten one. Then I would have been tempted by an Ncryption Code. I'd have to get that just to compare, you know. And the price is down, too. Then a Cell Pearl. Because I've heard great things about it.

It's all downhill from there

Why would a pro shop sell a break pearl for 80 bucks? Thats well below cost for that ball..

If the s75 was priced low like the break pearl, you should have bought that instead of the pin slasher..

Still not sure why a pro shop would drop the prices to below wholesale on equipment that is very popular..

The pro shop I go to has quite a few locations here in Vegas. The location I go to most is now one of their "outlet" locations. They have a sale right now. If you buy any ball $139.95 or over, any sale priced ball, no matter the cost, is reduced to $79.95. If I had bought the Break Pearl by itself, I would have paid $149.95. Since I bought the Pin Slasher ($169.95) the Break Pearl (which was on sale and the last one in the shop) is brought down from $149.95 to 79.95.
