Hey everyone, I just thought that I'd post this with hope that a few of you would be interested in helping out. There is a league here in southern California called the Greater Los Angeles Junior Allstars. For decades now, Greater LA has offered junior bowlers the opportunity to compete and develop their skill in a manor that simply has not been matched, earning the honor of being recognized as “the nation’s highest averaging junior travel league”. Each year, thousands of dollars are awarded in scholarships for the league’s bowlers to advance their education. Most of that money comes from fundraisers, which the bowlers are required to participate in.

This year, we are raffling off a Brunswick Blazing Inferno bowling ball. Tickets cost $1 each, and the drawing will be held on January 18, 2004. 100% of the proceeds go directly into the league’s scholarship fund.

By choosing to participate this raffle, you are supporting not only junior bowling, but the education of the bowlers who partake in the league as well.

Those who are interested, I have arranged a system for you to be able to purchase tickets without being in the area. I’ll be collecting money for the tickets either via paypal or snail-mail, then submitting your entry information for you. If the winning ticket was purchased from me, I will then UPS you the ball at my cost immediately. This is all working on good-faith, but there are many, many Greater LA bowlers on this site who can testify that this is legitimate.
