Thats almost unbelievable but very inspiring. Just goes to show that just because people has disabilites doesn't make them any worse off then anyone else. Very interesting find!

Although I understand what you're trying to say I think...you may have worded this a little wrong. Not being a jerk, just making sure you're saying something like, "People with disabilities can achieve their goals with hard work and determination." Because the way you worded it made it sound like it is no disadvantage whatsoever to be BLIND! "doesn't make them any worse off," sounds like you're saying it's no more difficult for someone who can't see. Again, please don't mis-read this as being a jerk, because I'm 1/2 way confident that I agree with you...just making sure.

That being said, this is an amazing feat. I wonder what type of bowler he is. I can't imagine lining up to throw a hook without sight. Crazy.

Yeah its just worded weird I guess. Kind of what Im sayin is like people put down others with disabilities thinking that they can't do certain things because of their disabilities. As to where this shows that they can do things just like everyone else. Its a great story.

Do you golf? I know several blind golfers that carry handicaps of 5 or lower.

Simply awesome. And, no, it does not reduce the credibility of the sport whatsoever.

...also gives more credence to John "Count" Gengler's bowling a 300 in the dark in 1919-1920...

AND...ON EDIT...just got off the phone with the guy...nice as can be!

Ok. I am in NO WAY making fun of the guy. The achievement is awesome. After 60 years of bowling, he deserves it.
but (JUST KIDDING - PLEASE DON'T BLAST ME HERE...)

did he shoot it on a THS?
