Title: Blister near thumb

it is pinkish and reddish but doesnt seem to hirt that bad if i pu that Xtra Skin on it or w/e its called and wut is everyones best way to get rid of a blister on ur thumb

You might check if you are squeezing the ball if the pitches are right.  When you squeeze the thumb will bend in the hole causing it to rub up against the side of the hole.  Make an effort to force your thumb to the back of the thumb hole so your finger nail is touching the back.  Throw it like that and see if it persists.  If it does then have your pitches checked or maybe open the thumb up a little.

i hav a tourny tommorow and will that xtra or dry skin or w/e make it good

Forgive my "ignorance", but am I the only one who is having a hard time following this "grammar"?

Here's a simple answer to your problem:  Wherever the blister is, that's where you're rubbing. There will never be a blister if you are coming out of the thumb hole clean. So either your gripping the ball funny, or your span or pitches are off. It really is that simple...

The guy at the local pro shop I visit turned me onto teflon tape in the hole.  I had a raw place on the top of my thumb and was able to bowl 10 games in practice w/out causing bleeding or discomfort.  Might have to open up the thumbhole just a shade tho...
