Bowl Expo
« on: June 19, 2003, 11:08:52 AM »
I attended the Expo, in Las Vegas, as a worker for Lane #1, and I wish to start by thanking Scott for talking to Richie, and for Richie for putting me on his list.  I was very proud to push the BuzzSaws and the company, as well as DougsProshop.  I was able to get a new bowling pin, and had it autographed by Walter Ray Williams Jr., Steve Neff (and Bosco), Johnny Petraglia, Parker Bohn, Brian Voss, Norm Duke, Danny Wiseman, Jason Couch, and 2 others that will take me some time to interperet.  Alex from Blockbuster bowling.com also introduced me to Mo Pinell.  Got to make some connections, but one thing I really enjoyed was talking to people about the BuzzSaws.  I even got the names of a couple of centers near me, that I offered to come demo what the Saws do for me, and they agreed.  They told me to call ahead so they can have some bowlers, that have been interested in them, to be there to watch.  Richie thought that was cool, and I am excited too.  What an awesome two days, and the exposure to some great innovations.  Mark and Anthony, from Lane #1 treated me like a part of the staff family, and let me pitch the Saws.  It's easy to sell a product that I believe in, and for company that treats the users and sellers so good.  I am a proud BuzzSaw user, and intend to stay that way until they make the pins out of something that Saws can't cut, at which time I am sure that Lane #1 will create a ball for that, and I will then use it.

Great, I'm sorry I didn't get a chance to go this year.  Did Anthony or Richie tell you about the new Saws come out.

Again .. congratulations .. bet it was fun!

There are some ideas out there, but I am not sure where they will end; the only thing that WE ALL can be sure of is that Lane #1 will create another winner.  Joe, if you are knocking down the pins like crazy, then how could you not get SAWS regardless of the price.  There are people that have used ones, and shops like Dougsproshop@aol.com that have great deals on NEW ones.  I am sure there are a number of people here that maybe could help depending on what Saw you were interested.  What 2 do you currently have?  Maybe you could sell them (if they are older) and get a new Cherry Bomb. Contact Doug Sterner here or at his e-mail.

Just cause I have every Saw they have in their line now, is not proof I am Clump.  I AM NOT CLUMP!!  I could never type with the attitude he did nor the heartlessness.

Richie wanted to know where Clump and Pchee were.  I told him that I asked both to come, but both were too cheap to come.  He said he is still waiting to meet both of them.  As for new releases, there are a couple of ideas in the works, but I do not want the cat, or in this case the SAW, out of the bag.  I am just a normal guy, who has to wait like everyone else to find out what's New!!  Hope this clears things up.

Well, Clump is not, BUT I am setting up a demo for the owner of Rim Lanes in Crestline, CA.  I will be calling him tomorrow to set up a date and time so bowlers can be there.

Saw Mill,

Too bad you missed the dinner at Wolfgang Puck's at Mandalay with Richie, Sam, and all the other Lane #1 guys.

Richie had them put out a spread that was excellent.

Just a word of advise , tone down on the caffine before you go demo-ing all those Buzzsaws. LOL.

Ummmm don't you think that Lane 1 would like someone that does not throw the ball so slow and revless to demo their balls?  With your old man revs and speed nothing is going to hit hard.   That's right Clump I called you a fluffy old man.  I could actually read the serial numbers on your ball when it went down the lane.

The only issue I will even deem worthy of address is the issue  that I AM NOT CLUMP.  I could never post so rudely and heartlessly as Clump  I am SawMill, AKA Dave.  The peachness digs raisins, and will even eat grapes because he knows that dried grapes become raisins eventually.
