Bowl Expo?
« on: June 01, 2005, 07:08:59 AM »
Does any one know where the next bowling expo will be? I thought that I heard it was in Orlando Florida. If any of you have been to one of these, what are they like? Do they sell bowling balls for cheap? Is it worth the trip?

It is in Orlando this year.  The show is not open to the general public normally.  There is everything from pinsetters, scoring etc. to food centers can purchase.  Every ball manufacture, shoe manufacture, bag manufacture etc. is there.  Bowling magazines publishers, training companies, you name it if it is bowling it will most likely be there.  Last year we worked with our distributor from Dallas in their booth.  Equipment is not sold to the public and as far as I know dealings are with pro shops, manufactures and distributors only.  You could buy some little things here and there as samples and take home.

I'm trying to get my dad to make this trip with me.  I'll have him stop by the booth for sure.  Sandra unfortunately will be staying home this time. Her schedule is a mess. She is working on 2 new Bowler's Slides Sock items, tinkering with accessories and the coaching end of the business.  I may not make the show but will be at the coaching summit.  My dad will stay longer after I leave.  All depends on how things go.
