Tilt
« on: September 19, 2009, 04:49:36 AM »
A friend of mine was told that he needed to add some additional tilt to his game to overcome the lack of his ability to make the ball turn the corner into the pocket. Is there some information on the subject somewhere on this site. If anyone has some input please let me know. Thanks Carlos

Tilt tends to help conserve energy, but not necessarily increase entry angle, at least not by itself.

Angle of rotation helps creat entry angle, but only if enough energy is conserved to be made use of at the breakpoint.

Many factors come into play to create ball reaction, with tilt and rotation being only two of those.  There is also release strength, release trajectory, oil length and volume, ball speed, etc.....

I'll look around on the internet and see if I find anything that looks interesting.
