Title: Bowlers
Post by: SrKegler on December 30, 2002, 10:20:01 PM: We are losing bowlers fast enough, I want all BR to be extremely careful over the rest of the holidays. Matter of fact, everyone post here on the afternoon of the 1st so I can make sure everyone is ok.

thing, took 3 months, but is ok now. How did you do that?
Did they put a cast on your hand? You will probably heal fast.

Thank you, Girl Scout!. I appreciate it very much. Thankfully, the wrist is fine. The hand is lovely yellowish purple right now.

Nope; just gave me a splint; Funny thing is it looks almost exactly like a RObby's. Bone is fractured, not separated; I can almost type ... Supposed to heal in 4 weeks; supposed to be back to normal in 6-8 weeks. Thanks, again.

Post by: 10 In The Pit on January 03, 2003, 11:10:20 PM: I survived the New Years deal myself. I celebrated midnight by going out to the mailbox to see what bills the mailman had left for me on New Years Eve day. Yep, sure enough, there was a bill in the box!

While I was out at the mailbox, I heard enough gunfire going off that I decided it was probably better to have a roof over my head (falling lead), so I wandered back inside. It is pretty easy to distinguish fireworks from gunfire in my area, and you hear both of 'em on New Years Eve at midnight.

Woke up at 6 AM, and the roads were wet. Went back to sleep, woke up again at 10:15 (enjoying a really rare lazy day), and there's 3-4 inches of snow on the ground. I live in the Portland Oregon area - we don't usually get snow, and we've had it for 3 days now.

I haven't thrown a bowling ball since 12/21, and I'm getting increasingly anxious about bowling a tournament this weekend. I haven't decided yet.

Read mumzie's post. 3 or 4 inches of snow! I had that in about an hour this morning, on top of the 16 inches we had during the week. Portland rolls up the sidewalks if they get over an inch of snow. People there drive like a bunch of idiots.
